Micro Clock is designed to provide its core timing features without an account or content uploads.
1. Data stored on your device
Clock settings, countdown and stopwatch state, focus settings, and event records are stored on your device by default. Uninstalling the app normally removes this local data.
2. Optional analytics
Product analytics is off by default. If you enable it in Settings, the app sends a random installation identifier, device type, system and app versions, and content-free feature interactions. Our services also receive standard request metadata, such as IP address and user agent, for delivery, security, and operations, and use an offline IP database to estimate country, state or province, and city. We do not log payment details, event titles, links, clipboard content, accounts, or nicknames in analytics. You can turn analytics off at any time.
3. Account data
The current version does not offer account registration, sign-in, or sharing. Users who previously signed in can still sign out or delete legacy account data in Settings.
4. App Store
Apple handles app acquisition, payments, and refunds. Micro Clock does not use storefront or purchase history to restrict features, and we do not receive your card or full payment details.
5. Clipboard and notifications
The app does not automatically read shopping clipboard content. Countdown, focus, and event reminders use local system notifications.
6. Retention and deletion
Local data remains until you remove it or uninstall the app. Analytics events and request metadata are retained only as long as needed for product analysis, security, operations, and legal obligations, then deleted or aggregated and de-identified. Legacy server account data remains until the account is deleted or operational/legal retention is required. Previously signed-in users can delete the account in Settings, or contact support if they cannot access the app.
